Maria Soler is a descendant of a family that, since 1880, have been producing handbags & accessories. Born in Gata de Gorgos, next to the Mediterranean and influenced by the nature that surrounds her & its relationship with the artisan creations of the family workshop (where she acquired her knowledge & likeness for well made things) she decided to take on the challenge of continuing the family tradition. For this new challenge and because it is difficult to maintain handmade production in Spain she has decided to take a chance with her own ideas regarding design and a new generation of environmentally friendly (Green) materials. So the Maria Soler brand is born and it seeks to create bags that generate experiences & sensations in the people who own them.

Maria Soler's bags include distinct styles & collections, using different materials such as raffia, straw, palm, canvas, leather etc. On the one hand there are the traditional baskets, originally created by Maria's grandfather, handmade in straw and palm in a unique design & of good quality. On the other there is the latest fashion collection of bags in which the most fashionable materials are used, such as leather, PVC, vinyl, graffiti canvas etc. The collection 'Made in Green' are eco-friendly bags that primarily use materials stamped as 'Made in Green'. This recognises that Maria Soler's products in this collection are free of toxic substances & are certified by AITEX, a textile Institute that proves that the products have been created in factories that respect the environment.
